Сніжара, шквальний вітер і мряка туманна. Зима на фіналках газнула трохи, Кучки, одначе. They had various animals: cows, sheep, pigs, rabbits, otters. Where there are animals - there is manure. A whole pile of manure. In that manure there lived worms: Vladimir, Alexander and Nikolay. One day Alexander tells Vladimir: Vladimir, have you heard that there is a world government all around consisting of the jews who have distributed everything among themselves and we don’t have a say in anything? Vladimir replies: Our task is very small. We have to eat well so that we can become a larva and then fall asleep. Alexander to him: Do as you want, Vladimir, but I don’t feel like leaving this place. We have housing here, good food. On the outside there are only jews and the world government. Screw that larva thing. So Alexander persuaded Vladimir. They decided to pause their development and to remain in manure. Why not? In manure it’s warm, it’s calm, no need to think of the food at all. Hooves make sure it would not dry out. This is breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even if you wake up at night - there is something to munch too. Alexander and Vladimir did not say anything to Nikolay worm because they did not want to share the manure with him. Therefore, when the time came, Nikolay turned into a larva, fell asleep, spent a winter like that and then when the spring came he turned into a rhino-beetle and flew away free from the manure. He turned out to be a great looking one, like an SUV after carwash, only with the wings. So he is flying, smelling the spring smells and not giving a damn about the world government. The spring is here, everything is beautiful, birds are singing, cherry tree orchids are blossoming. In those orchids the good people are sitting, drinking moonshine, cracking [Easter] eggs, eating fried pork with buckwheat, bacon, garlic and singing ukrainian songs. Every single one of them wore traditional Ukrainian embroidered ornamented shirts. Nikolay got enough of the flight, landed on a cherry tree to rest a bit. There was a she-beetle flying by, a really good looking one. She landed nearby and said: Lad, where are you from, handsome? Nikolay recalled the manure but was too shy to open up about it. So he replied: My name is Nikolay. Our way would be Mykola (said she-beetle). I don’t want to hear that Nikolay name anymore, understood? I got it (said Mykola), no more it is. What is your name? My name is Galya (says she-beetle). Ok handsome, stand up, it’s time to fly. I like you, I'm gonna live with you. So they took off. Vladimir and Alexander remained to live in manure. They stopped their development. They did not become larvae and they did not fall asleep. So they are crawling in the tunnels, eating manure and chatting about the world government. Come spring, the old man took the manure to the field and spread it around with the pitchfork. There came a stork and ate Vladimir. The stork also chased a bit after Alexander to keep him fit, but in the end it got bored as well and so it ate him out as well. So this is the end of this tale.
